Welcome to Seldo! These terms govern your use of our app and services. By using Seldo, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at support@seldo.app.

What Is Seldo?

Seldo is a productivity app that helps you manage tasks, track goals, and build work habits through AI-powered guidance. Seldo is developed and operated by Murat Yigit Davutoglu.

Subscriptions and Payment

Seldo operates on a subscription model through the Apple App Store. Subscribers who are running low on messages may be offered one-time Usage Packs — a fixed number of message credits that never expire. Usage Pack credits are consumed after your active subscription quota is depleted. Usage Packs are non-refundable.

Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it through your App Store account settings. Payments are charged at the start of each billing cycle.

We do not provide refunds for any remaining subscription period after cancellation.

Seldo uses AI to provide productivity suggestions. You should understand:

Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of your tasks, goals, and chat messages. By using Seldo, you grant us a license to store, process, and analyze your content to operate the app, improve our services, and develop AI models.

We may use anonymized data from conversations and usage patterns to improve our AI. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

What You Can't Do

Intellectual Property

All rights in Seldo are owned by us or our licensors. You get a limited license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You can't copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of Seldo.

Privacy and Security

We take your privacy seriously. For details on data collection and protection, see our Privacy Policy.

We use industry-standard security measures, but we cannot guarantee 100% security. By using Seldo, you acknowledge that no online service is completely risk-free.

Service Availability

We're constantly improving Seldo. While we aim for uninterrupted service, there may be occasional downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We'll notify you of planned maintenance when possible.

Not a Medical or Mental Health Service

Seldo is a productivity tool. Its AI may talk with you about how you're feeling, what's getting in your way, or what's stressing you out — because those things affect your work. But that is not therapy, and Seldo is not a therapist, counselor, psychologist, or any kind of licensed mental health or medical professional. It cannot diagnose, treat, or provide clinical support for any condition.

If you are going through a mental health crisis, having thoughts of self-harm, or facing a medical emergency, please stop and reach out to someone who can actually help:

Disclaimers and Liability

Seldo is provided "as is" without warranties. We don't guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Our total liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the total amount you have paid us.

Termination and Service Changes

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. We also reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any part of Seldo at any time — including for technical, legal, or business reasons — with or without prior notice.

If we discontinue the service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the app or website. Subscription fees already charged are non-refundable, but we will work with Apple on any prorated credits where applicable under App Store policies.

You can stop using Seldo anytime by uninstalling the app and canceling your subscription through the App Store.

Your Responsibility

If your use of Seldo — or your violation of these terms — leads to a claim, loss, damage, or legal cost being brought against us, you agree to be responsible for those costs. This covers claims that arise from how you use the app, content you submit, or any third-party rights you may have violated. We reserve the right to take over the defense of any matter where we believe we have an interest, at our own expense.

Things Outside Our Control

We are not liable for disruptions or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes infrastructure outages, network failures, natural disasters, cyberattacks on third-party providers, power failures, government actions, or any other event that no reasonable precaution could prevent. When these happen, we will do our best to restore service and communicate with you.

If Part of These Terms Is Invalid

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be adjusted or removed to the minimum extent necessary. The rest of these terms will continue to apply in full and remain binding.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or on our website. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
